We’re pleased to share our latest annual report for the 2025-26 fiscal year. This year’s report highlights the breadth of work happening across our five Centres to develop collaborative, scientifically rigorous programs that meet the needs of partners and interest-holders.

Highlights from the past year are organized by program area, including: avian data and research led by the Boreal Avian Monitoring Centre; human footprint mapping in British Columbia led by our Geospatial Centre; work through the Partnerships for Applied Research Centre to bridge scientific knowldege with local and Indigenous Knowledge to enable on-the-ground action for habitat and wildlife; advances in environmental sensor research through SENSR; and mammal research and monitoring led by the Wildlife Science Centre. We also feature two border-spanning projects: our work in Mongolia supporting rangeland stewardship and climate resilience and our Wildland Foundations project in BC, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories.

Our work would not be possible without the support of our partner institutions, funders, Board of Directors, and collaborators. We’re excited for what we’ll accomplish together next year!
